Student Ministry at FPC Tyler, with God's help, encourages young people to become and serve as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ in all areas of life.
Student ministry strives to offer:
- an inviting welcoming, nurturing and safe place students are free to be truthful about issues they face.
- equip students with the knowledge and tools to become more faithful Christians.
- help students discover and develop their gifts and talents for service to the church, their community and the world.
- build a community of lasting friendships with peers and other adults in the church.
- encourage connections to the larger church by participating in Presbytery events.
- invite and involve students in the full life of FPC -- especially worship.
- instill values of service and mission, along with a balance of fun and fellowship.
